MARCH 1, 2021 – In order to ensure impartiality in the validation process, a team composed of representatives from the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), Philippine National Police (PNP), Bureau of Fire (BFP) and Civil Society Organization (CSO) conducted cross-post validation on the compliance of the Local Government Units (LGUs) in the Province of Quirino on the road clearing operations.

TUGUEGARAO CITY, CAGAYAN – During the 3^rd Cycle of the Legal Education and Policy Discussion with DILG Officers (LEAD with DILG) initiative held on March 4, 2021, Cagayan Field Officers discussed the provisions of DILG Memorandum Circular No. 2020-153 and formulated a provincial mechanism to capacitate LGUs on protecting the rights of refugees, asylum seekers, and stateless persons – collectively termed as Persons of Concern.
