September 13, 2024 – In line with the Bagong Pilipinas Brand of Leadership’s commitment to bringing government services closer to the Filipino people, the five provinces of Region 2—Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Nueva Vizcaya, and Quirino—actively participated in the simultaneous nationwide distribution of government assistance.

This nationwide initiative was spearheaded by the respective provincial governors and aimed to ensure that essential government support reaches communities directly. The event provided an avenue for national government agencies to distribute various types of assistance, including livelihood programs, scholarships, educational tool kits, and financial aid to beneficiaries across the region.

In addition to the distribution of aid, several national government agencies extended their services on-site. This included business registration assistance, free medical consultations, and other critical support services designed to empower residents and enhance their quality of life.

One of the highlights of the event was the setting up of the "KADIWA ng Pangulo," a program aimed at bringing affordable agricultural products directly to the people. This initiative not only supports local farmers but also provides communities with access to fresh and reasonably priced goods, helping to stabilize food prices and promote sustainable agricultural practices.

By bringing these services directly to the communities, the government hopes to strengthen the trust and engagement between the people and their public servants, laying the foundation for a more empowered and participative citizenry.
