Forty three (43) LGU potential passers from the provinces of Isabela, Cagayan, Quirino, and Nueva Vizcaya undergo the CY 2023 Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) National Validation this September 18-22, 2023.

The national validation teams composed of DILG officials and technical officers from DILG Region 1 are headed by ARD Paulino Lalata, Jr. while Region 3 teams are led by LGMED Chief Lerrie Hernandez. A total of 17 validators from both regions are deployed in the region.

The National Validation is one of the phases in the implementation of the SGLG. LGUs shall be declared passers after final approval from the Council of Good Local Governance (CGLG).
