CABARROGUIS, QUIRINO– The Provincial Award Committee (PAC) conducted on-site evaluation of the sanggunians of the six (6) municipalities in the Province of Quirino for the 2023 Local Legislative Award (LLA) last September 15, 2023.

To determine the Outstanding Sanggunian, the PAC conducted on-site evaluation of the Sangguniang Bayan of Cabarroguis on September 8, 2023, Sangguniang Bayan of Diffun and Saguday on September 12, 2023, Sangguniang Bayan of Aglipay on September 13, 2023, and Sangguniang Bayan of Maddela and Nagtipunan on September 14, 2023. 

Four out of six or 67% of the sanggunians garnered an overall performance rating ranging between 80% to 85% based on employed thorough assessment.

The award accords official recognition to city and municipal sanggunians that demonstrated innovation and exemplary performance in local legislation from July 1, 2019 to June 30, 2022.

The PAC is chaired by DILG Provincial Director, Atty. Salvacion Z. Baccay represented by OIC Michael E. Camacam with Vice-Chairpersons Hon. Magdalina A. Saladino, President - Philippine Councilors League (PCL)-Quirino and Hon. Marlito G. Corpuz, President - Vice Mayors League of the Philippines (VMLP)-Quirino, representatives from the Offices of Provincial Agriculturist, Provincial Social Welfare and Development (PSWD), Provincial Budget, Provincial Environment and Natural Resources, and representatives of DILG Quirino, namely, Program Manager Blessing Grace G. Sagun, LGOO V Carolyn C. Mateo, LGOO II John Lambert A. Pascual and LGOO II Ranielle Pauline D. Delos Reyes
