SANTIAGO CITY – DILG   Quirino lent the planning team of the Municipality of Aglipay a helping hand in preparing their Annual Investment Plan (AIP) in the form of a training workshop held at Zen Hotel, Santiago City on May 18, 2022.

Technical personnel from the different units of the provincial office offered to explain to the participants the different aspects and practical details in the preparation of the AIP. LGOO V Gladys S. Luna, Local Government Capacity and Development Unit (LGCDU) Chief, lectured on the Investment Programming where she explained the processes and connections of the Local Development Investment Program (LDIP), AIP and annual budget.

Linkages of various municipal sectoral plans to the AIP were presented to the planning team together with Local Development Indicators (LDIs) and Rationalized Planning Indicator Data Set (RaPIDS), which are necessary in guiding the local planning team in identifying development indicators applicable to the needs of the municipality.

The AIP identifies projects and programs to be appropriated in the Annual Budget and the projects and programs within the AIP are the producers of the results in the LGU. These programs and projects in the AIP shall be distributed in the following sectors – economic, social, general, and other public services.
