CABARROGUIS, QUIRINO – On December 6-7, 2021, DILG Quirino, through the Provincial Project Development and Monitoring Unit, facilitated the finalization of the Provincial Road Network and Development Plan (PRNDP) at the Quirino Water Sports Complex, San Marcos, Cabarroguis. A total of eighteen participants from the Local Road Management Team (LRMT) attended the two-day activity.

PO IV Daniphine Badua presented the draft LRNDP which was the output of the LRMT in a series of workshops conducted last CY 2020. In a plenary, the body enhanced the draft plan and provided additional data needed to ensure the road network plan’s support to the infrastructure component of the Provincial Development and Physical Framework Plan (PDPFP). Particularly on roads which aim to improve the internal and external circulation of vehicles thus, contributing to the improvement and projected socio-economic growth and service delivery in the Province of Quirino.

Taking advantage of the presence of all LRMT members, they also tackled the enhancement of their Annual Reform Action Plan (ARAP) 2022 targets. The ARAP details the Province’s Governance Reform Roadmap (PGRR) which will be operationally implemented in 2022 in terms of activity plans, objectives, deliverables, timelines, responsible office/s, budgets and support agencies.

The finalized version of the LRNDP will be presented to the Sanggunian Panlalawigan of Quirino on December 20, 2021, for adoption, while the ARAP 2022 is to be submitted to DILG Quirino.
