Seventeen (17) LGUs of the Province of Cagayan were provided with training on the Formulation of the Local Climate Change Action Plan (LCCAP) held at the JAPI Hotel, Cauayan City, Isabela on March 16-18, 2015 and March 17-21, 2015. The two (2) schools of the training were attended by the Municipal Planning and Development Officers (MPDOs), Municipal Agriculturists (MAOs), Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Officers (MENROs), Local Disaster Risk Reduction Officers (LDRRMOs) and the Municipal Local Government Operations Officers (MLGOOs).

“Ang ganda ng mga proyekto ng DILG, nakikita namin ang impact nito sa komunidad”, this is one of the comments of the CSO-partners of DILG RO2 during the budget consultation held last March 19, 2015 at DILG Conference hall, Carig, Tuguegrao City.
DILG RO2’s CSO-partners PROCESS Luzon, Phil. Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA), Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) and Son-shine Radio actively participated in the budget consultation for FY 2016. Also presented during the budget consultation were the accomplishments for CY 2014 and the targets for the current year.
In an open forum, the CSO representatives expressed their appreciation to the invitation and were further motivated to do their duties as partners as they witnessed the projects implemented by the department through the Bottom Up Budgeting (BuB) and SALINTUBIG.
OIC RD Iringan initiated to tour the CSO partners to the completed projects on BuB Water in Cabagan, Isabela and BuB Local Access in San Manuel, Isabela prior to the budget consultation for the CSOs to have a glimpse of the implementation of the projects of the department under the BuB.

October 30, 2014- The Department of the Interior and Local Government Regional Office 02 culminates 23rd Local Government Month Celebration through the conduct of Local Governance Forum today at Hotel Roma, Tuguegarao City, Cagayan. The forum was attended by a number of local officials, functionaries and agency directors of the region. It was graced by Executive Director Manuel Q. Gotis of DILG-Bureau of Local Government Supervision, Executive Director Marivel C. Sacendoncillo of the Local Government Academy and a representative from the Office of Secretary Manuel N.
