
SAN GUILLERMO, ISABELA - San Guillermo, Isabela geared for an in-depth poverty profiling through the adoption of Community-Based Monitoring System Accelerated Poverty Profiling (CBMS APP) Project for its second round.
The Municipal Government pushed through the conduct CBMS-APP 1 Training on June 5-8, 2019 at San Guillermo Municipal Gymnasium, Centro 1, San Guillermo, Isabela.
The Municipal Government saw the significant contribution of CBMS in its developmental undertakings during the first round of implementation in 2016.
Lecturers from Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) discussed the Barangay Profile Questionnaire (BPQ) and Household Profile Questionnaire (HPQ) as the main instruments for data gathering in CBMS-APP 1.
CBMS-APP 1, as initial stage of CBMS implementation, involves data gathering from all the households in the municipality.
After the discussions, practice interviews using the tablet form and simulated exercises were conducted to check the receptivity of the participants on the concepts presented.
Also, actual field practice was made in Barangay Centro 1 to give the participants a taste of the real situation in the field during their actual field enumeration.
“Let’s be passionate about this [CBMS]. As part of the young generation, you can do meaningful impact in our society as long as we help each other”, Engr. Edelson Dela Cruz, EnP, Municipal Planning and Development Coordinator (MPDC) encouraged to the enumerators.
