TUGUEGARAO CITY, CAGAYAN – Prior to the implementation of the Local Government Support – Financial Assistance to Local Government Units, DILG R2 conducted a regional orientation on Local Budget Circular (LBC) 142, Series of 2022 and the Omnibus Guidelines for Project Monitoring on February 24, 2022.

The orientation will equip all Local Government Units (LGUs) with a clear understanding of LBC No.142, presented by Ms. Ludivina T. Potot from the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) Regional Office 2 and also to sufficiently provide knowledge to concerned LGU personnel on guidelines for project monitoring which was discussed by Engr. Paul Joseph Fabito from the DILG Central Office – Office of Project Development Services (OPDS).

Regional Director Jonathan Paul M. Leusen, Jr., and Assistant Regional Director Elpidio A. Durwin also joined the orientation and vowed full support and assistance the LGUs for the proper implementation of various priority programs of the Department like the FY 2022 LGSF-FALGU.

A total of 351 LGU officials and functionaries across the region participated during the online orientation which was facilitated by the Regional Project Development and Management Unit (RPDMU).
