DILG REGIONAL OFFICE 02 – pursuant to DOH-DILG-DOLE-DOT-DTI JMC No. 21-01 and in consonance to the government’s efforts to encourage safety of the public as it gradually opens the economy and ensure public service continuity amid the threat of the coronavirus disease-2019 (COVID-19), DILG Region 2 submitted itself for evaluation to the Safety Seal Inspection and Certification Team on November 12, 2021

The Regional Inspection and Certification Team composed of DILG Assistant Regional Director Elpidio A. Duriwn, SFO1 Daisy Pedralvez of the BFP, PLtCol. Gerald Miguel and PCPL John Paredes from the PNP and and JSUPT. Crispin Dornagon and Atty. Melchor Oran from the BJMP, inspected the regional office based on the guidelines of set by JMC 21-01, particularly on the institution’s compliance to the Minimum Public Health Standards.

Following thorough assessment, DILG R2 officially received the stamp of approval from the inspection and certification team and was awarded the Certificate of Safety Seal. Regional Director Jonathan Paul M. Leusen, Jr. received the seal In behalf of all employees and personnel of the Regional Office during a small program following the inspection. He said that the seal is a mark of commitment from DILG R2 and as prime implementer of the program, to champion and push for compliance to the safety seal in all government and business establishments.
