CABARROGUIS, QUIRINO – On November 17, 2021, the DILG Quirino Provincial Office together with local officials and functionaries of Cabarroguis, Quirino spearheaded the inauguration and turn-over of the FY 2020 SALINTUBIG - Construction of Level II Water System projects at Barangays Eden and Tucod, Cabarroguis, Quirino.

Key officials present during the ceremony were DILG Regional Director Jonathan Paul M. Leusen, Jr., Assistant Regional Director Elpidio A. Durwin, Provincial Director Salvacion Z. Baccay, and Cabarroguis Mayor Willard V. Abuan.

In his opening remarks, Mayor Abuan expressed his utmost gratitude to the Department and to all local officials and employees behind the successful implementation of the water project.

“These gave a great impact to the community because now they have an easy access to potable water and for their daily needs”, he said.

Meanwhile, Director Leusen also had a few words of inspiration to those who gathered to witness the activity.

“This is a project that will not only provide water supply systems to waterless barangays, but a project that will ensure the health, safety, and development of all people in the community,” the regional director said.

He also emphasized the vital role of local officials and the residents play in maintaining and assuring longevity of the project for future generations.

To commemorate yet another milestone, the DILG and LGU Cabarroguis performed an on-site ceremonial ribbon cutting before capping the activity with the signing of Certificates of Turn-over and Acceptance.
