CABARROGUIS, QUIRINO – In a brief ceremony held at the Provincial Capitol, Cabarroguis, Quirino, the Regional Inspection and Certification Team (RICT) conferred the Safety Seal to the Provincial Government of Quirino on July 8, 2021. Composed of the DILG, as team leader and members from the PNP, BFP, and BJMP, the RICT awarded the Safety Seal to Gov. Dakila Carlo E. Cua, who received the safety seal in behalf of the 12 offices of the provincial government.

Present during the activity were DILG Assistant Regional Director, Elpidio A. Durwin, DILG-Quirino Provincial Director, Salvacion Z. Baccay, PMAJ. Ricardo Salada and PMAJ. Ricardo Francisco of PNP Quirino, FO1 Harris L. Rivera of BFP Quirino, and the Department Heads of the provincial government.  

Following the launching of the Safety Seal Certification Program, the RICT is responsible for the inspection and certification of Provincial Capitols and other establishments and facilities within the premises to ensure that they compliant with the minimum public health standards and other conditions set by DILG Memorandum Circular 2021-053. Furthermore, the seal seeks to increase client confidence not only in government and public offices but also in private business establishments in a bid safely reopen and revitalize the economy. Finally, the seal also encourages the adoption and use of the staysafe.ph, a simple and user friendly digital contact tracing application for easy access to establishments and other facilities.
