We Welcome Your Feedback

The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Region 02 led by Regional Director Jonathan Paul M. Leusen Jr. conducted a two-day Team Building cum Orientation on Development LIVE platform at Costa Pacifica, Baler, Aurora on September 6-8, 2018. About sixty-four DILG R02 personnel joined the Team Building.

The activity aimed to raise awareness on the PPAs of the Department, strengthen camaraderie and teamwork among employees, and understand the role of teamwork as an important tool towards achievement of greater organizational performance and productivity.

One of the PPAs of the Department which need to be known by all employees is DevLIVE.

DILG, in partnership with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), developed a project called “Development LIVE: Achieving SDGs in Infrastructure through Local Integrity, Innovation and Citizen Empowerment”. Development LIVE (DevLIVE) is an online data capture and visualization platform that will serve as a monitoring feedback tool for LGUs, Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), and government personnel, thereby fostering a state-society partnership that is participatory, transparent and ultimately democratic.

On the other hand, it is always important to provide personnel interventions that will give them enough time to unwind by going out together from the workplace to relax, enjoy, and reinforce their bonding, camaraderie and teamwork. As they say, “All work no play makes Johnny a dull boy”, likewise to the workforce of every organization.

Young or feeling young, all participants show-off their dark shade lippies, heavy eyeliners, black stockings, nude blush-ons, black leather jackets, rockstar pants, and more black costumes to blend in with the theme of the night’s event, “The Rock of Ages”.

Every DILG personnel vary from one another, from choices in life, culture, religion, to aspirations, etc. but the conduct of the team building brought us together, as one team, as one family. Because at the end of the day, what really counts the most is finding unity in diversity. Further, it made us realize that you can take a break, have all the fun, and unwind all you want while learning the essence of synergy, effective communication, and good working relationships among DILG employees in the most unforgettable way.
