The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Quirino, in partnership with the Provincial Government, conducted the 2018 LGU Incentives and Awards (LGUIA) Ceremony on September 7, 2018 at the People’s Gymnasium, Capitol Hills, San Marcos, Cabarroguis, Quirino to recognize the exemplary performance of local officials and functionaries in their varied capacities at the LGU level.
The awarding was held at the Opening Program of the 47th Panagdadappun Festival to recognize outstanding municipal and barangay officials in the Province for their remarkable innovations and initiatives along good governance as it aimed to motivate, improve the quality of their work and instill deeper involvement of officials in public service.

Governor Junie E. Cua, in his message, acknowledged all the awardees for their commitment to uphold the culture of excellence in governance. He also propelled them to sustain their current status and continually focus on improving their performances and overall operations especially in the delivery of various services to their constituents. He hoped that their achievements will be emulated by other LGUs.
