Better road accessibility is seen to flourish in Luna, Isabela these coming days.

This is made possible through the inauguration of three (3) Local Access Roads funded under the 2017 Assistance to Disadvantaged Municipalities (ADM) program of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) on December 04, 2017.

Luna, Isabela is one of the municipalities granted with the first batch of ADM recipients in the Region.

The grant was utilized by the municipal government in paving roads that connect the 3 barangays to the main thoroughfares in the municipality.

A total of Php14,900,000.00 comprises the total cost of the concreting of the local access roads in 3 barangays of Luna, Isabela.

The concreting of road in Barangay Centro 1 covering the seven (7) streets entails a total of 729 linear meters with a total cost of Php7,290,000.00.

A total of Php3,610,000.00 covered the concreting of 361 linear meter-road in Purok 7, Barangay Lalog 1.

Meanwhile, a total of Php4,000,000.00 entailed the concreting of 400 linear meter-road in Purok 5, Barangay Mambabanga connecting the National Highway to the Luna General Comprehensive High School (LGCHS).
Municipal Mayor Hon. Jaime N. Atayde said that the project will ease transportation among the barangay residents as well as the residents of neighboring barangays.

He also added that the project will enable better economic activities in the municipality.

Meanwhile, DILG-Isabela Provincial Director Elpidio A. Durwin, Mayor Atayde, Municipal Vice-Mayor Hon. Andy R. Domingo, Sangguniang Bayan Members and other local government functionaries graced the inauguration of the projects.
